On Friday, 5th September 2025, Polyphonic Events returned with another instalment of Transcend. York’s premier underground house music night, tucked away inside Bluebox York, a club known for its unmistakable Funktion One sound system and intimate, red lit atmosphere.

The night began in cinematic fashion. A pre-party session high above the city, inside a penthouse suite overlooking York’s skyline and the majestic York Minster. Warm-up tunes set the tone against a glowing sunset before the crew moved across the city to Spark, refuelling among the industrial-themed food stalls that define York’s creative edge.

As the evening unfolded, Bluebox came alive with red light and rolling basslines. Hosted by YesWebbo (joined by his brother for the first time on stage), the lineup featured a perfect blend of local underground energy:
