On Wednesday, 17th September 2025, Polyphonic Events proudly launched its weekly Open Decks sessions at The Drawing Board, located on the middle floor of the iconic Bluebox York building.

After a successful trial the week prior, YesWebbo returned with infectious enthusiasm to showcase this fresh concept, giving DJs of all levels the chance to play on club standard equipment in a professional environment. The setup featured 2x Pioneer CDJ 3000s paired with either a Pioneer DJM V10LF or an Allen & Heath XONE 96 mixer, powered through a punchy sound system that fills the room with clean, tactile low end.

Running from 9pm until the early hours, Polyphonic Open Decks is the perfect space for up-and-coming DJs to refine their beatmatching skills, adapt to live room acoustics, and get comfortable with the real world “club feel” of professional gear. With bass reverberating through the floor and feedback challenges to master, every participant learns the true nuances of live mixing in a friendly, collaborative environment open to ANY GENRES !
