Following the explosive success of Inception, the Bunker collective returned on July 4th, 2025 with the next instalment in the series. Catalyst, a fiery successor that lived up to its name in both energy and atmosphere.

Held once again at Bluebox York, the event embraced a blazing fire inspired theme, with visuals centred around flame gradients, glowing embers, and bold red & orange branding, perfectly symbolising the meaning behind the name. In science, a catalyst speeds up a reaction, and this night was designed to do exactly that: accelerate the rise of Bunker as a defining force in York’s underground music scene.

The lineup reflected this high-octane concept, stacked with local talent and dynamic back-to-back performances:

• YesWebbo set the tone early with warm, deep rhythms.

• Chris Masiak x Bezza took to the decks for a tight, rolling B2B session, blending deep tech with energy-driven grooves.

• Flowers brought flair with a high-tempo half-hour slot, keeping the pace alive.

• CHAZ followed with a driving set that fused house and dance with big-room energy.

• Kairos closed the night with a powerful Bass House finale that shook Bluebox to its core.

The result? A night that truly felt like a turning point. A creative and musical ignition point for the Bunker brand. From its world class poster design and cohesive visual storytelling to the flawless sound of Bluebox’s Funktion One system, Catalyst solidified Bunker’s aesthetic and ambition.
