This shoot took place on the historic Elvington Airfield, just outside York, a location renowned for its elegant and long runway. On a clear, sunny day, myself and Club Class Cars put two incredible machines on the centre stage: a Vorsprung Edition Audi RS5 in Nardo Grey and a BMW Alpina 530D, each representing the pinnacle of German performance and design.
The RS5, shot with its panoramic roof open, gleaming under the sunlight, showing off the sharp, sculpted lines and Quattro aggression that define Audi’s modern RS styling. In contrast, the Alpina 530D delivers understated elegance, its signature blue brake callipers and detailed dials giving a subtle nod to its performance pedigree.
The wide runway setting created the perfect stage for long, clean compositions with dramatic depth and leading lines, allowing both cars to shine in balance with their surroundings.
